aku started work at MTQ Corporation Limited, 182 Pandan Loop.

aku's work scope includes corp tax and gst compliance (aka doing all the tax filing for the co.)..perform subsidiary accounts (aussie sub..my seniors all went aussie for some work before! i think i will have the chance to go over also! wooo~)..accounts reconciliation...corp secretarial functions and etc..

first day of work on 6 jan..and it was really hell..i couldnt slp the night before..and barely slpt for 2 hours..i was SO TIRED! kept dozing off. T_T

colleagues and boss are very nice~ n i m not the youngest! another girl in the sales dep is one yr younger than me..and guess wat..we are called the SYT..aka the Sweet Young Thing~ LOL

things have been so far so good...the working hours is the most shiok. 8 to 5..leave on the dot at 5..cos the co. bus dont wait for ppl~ haha

common interest with bf

1) SOCCER - we love Arsenal (arsenal go go go! =x), hate Liverpool. i watches Ac Milan matches with him while he watches Real Madrid matches with me! ^^ he supports Italy while i support Spain (upperden!) but we really are the hardcore soccer fans. lol

2) Lepak - aka slack tgt..like la kopi. and i like to la starbucks kopi..we can sit there for an hour or two just to chit chat and talk nonsense. XP

3) FOOD - our common LOVE. we love going ard sg (or even overseas like bangkok!) for good food! mostly dinner or supper...no matter how far or how troublesome it is to get there..we will. fav places and food includes chomp chomp, zam zam muttubak, geylang bah chor mee, the roti prata house and the list goes on....

4) Rock music - this is sort of influenced by bf. but initially i do listen to some of them..then i discovered more and more nice songs intro'ed by bf! shiok...

5) Piano (keyboard) - we have spent quite some time on playing the keyboard at my house. of course most of the time is bf teaching me how to play. currently learning Canon in D with my house's keyboard. i can play for hours at home when i'm alone..muahaha..of course the piano he plays at his house is sooo much nicer.

6) Movie - i guess that's the most common thing couple always do tgt. BUT he doesnt like horror like i do..(in fact i LOVE horrors! lol) BUT i nv failed to drag him to watch horrors with me. haha

7) Travelling - my bf LOVES to travel as much as i do! over the past 1 yr plus..we have been to bangkok twice..phuket and genting. more trips (of cos further trips) in future for SURE. we are gonna fly like every now and then when he graduates from UQ! (i hope..lol) and he already made plans that we shall go to europe for soccer matches during our honeymoon. ahaha.

I am suppose to be reading up some stuffs for projects and writing some notes, but I would make an entry before I go do that.

Recently, I had been hearing too much complains about Singapore, as much as some of them are valid but it's really sad to hear Singaporeans wanting to move out of Singapore ... migrate and things like that.

Actually although I may also have a fair share of complains here and there but it's like ... I never thought of moving out of Singapore for good and I miss it lots too! Especially after being in UK for like close to 1 month, its not a bad place, the things are beautiful and the weather more cooling ...

Somethings that I probably love about Singapore .. ermm.. is the FOOD! heehee, the convenience of going to most places via MRT or bus, playing with stray cats, being safe enoguh for you to go out at 3am alone, the National Day (love the fireworks and choir), the Singlish ... and many many more.

I know that with cost on the raise ... electrical bills and phone bils going up, everyone at home is getting pretty upset about it .. and stuffs like that. Everyone is pretty unhappy ... like Uncle, Best Friend, my friend here and some random people have mentioned wanting to migrate out of Singapore!

BUT ... have anyone every thought about it? Is moving elsewhere really good? I would like to weigh out some pros and cons here, so hopefully it doesnt offend anybody.

Like I came to know of a friend living in Taiwan, he got a flat, several times bigger than mine ... mayb 3 times or so. It actually cost him about 3 million SGD to get it. I am not sure of what others think, but to me, that's bloody expensive! Even getting 3 HDB flats of my size is probably around a million or less. We can pay for our HDB via CPF as well, so why is everyone complaining that it's expensive to live in Singapore? It sure doesn't look like it's any much better elsewhere, yes? No?

I always had the misconception that Singapore flats are BLOODY expensive and all, now that I think of it, it isn't THAT bad after all.

Then in western countries where most people like to migrate to,

1)there's more or less some racism against asians in western places. And some which are displayed pretty obviously.... sometimes.

2) If you are sick and need to see a doctor, you would have to make an appt, and usually the fastest is 3 days later .... which you could either be well liao, or probably dead.
3) I heard from my friend that she have a filling to do, so appointment to be made as usual, and it cost about 50 pounds to do a filling! Wah rao, SGD 100+ loh. In Singapore even if you go private, when I was a dental asst it cost SGD 20 - 40+, depending on the material and size that is.

4) The seasons, people do complain about HOT HOT HOT weather in Singapore, but compare to places like Africa which goes up to 40 degrees, how hot is Singapore? Are people dying of heat stroke yet? For me, I do not really look forward to winter. I think it's too much of hassel ... having to have diff clothings for diff seasons. So ... a ave of 28 to 34 degrees in Sg, isn't that bad right? O_o Oh yah... not forgetting that you don't see much of sun during winter, thats really minus minus minus point.

5) Food here in UK, is generally BORING. We do have chinese restaurants but in campus 98% is sandwich, coffee and salad stuffs. You probably can get fish n chips and kebabs elsewhere. But Singapore has a huge variety of food! Chinese, indian, malay, western... you can get it cheap at hawker ... a lil steeper in restaurant. But we have variety ... and most of it is pretty good. I miss hao jian, hokkien mee, laksa, duck rice and EVEN ... fish ball noodles that is quite boring to the taste bud.

6) Over here ... the shops close tmd early. 5pm on Sunday.... 5pm leh! By the time I walk from Somerset to Orchard and wanna U turn to Centrepoint to get something the shop close liao loh! Something along the line, I mean yes ... everyone need their fair share of rest, but ... still ... sian lah.

7) Then entertainment here after 6pm or so, is either drinking or clubbing. Which for some reason .. maybe due to religion, interest etc, not everybody drinks. In Singapore, at night ... you have clubs and bars (that open till much later than here). If you love to sing you can go KTV ... if you just want a cup of coffee and surf some net there's 24 hours mac.... if you want some good supper there's Geylang and lotsa 24 hours kopitiam and good food here.

8) Although Sheffield is the safest city UK, I heard from a friend that her friend who lived in my block was walking to school 1 day .. at 9am in the morning... and she was grabbed 2 buys, 1 twisted her arm to the back and another ruffled her hair and she screamed.... and the guys ran off..... probably drunk... nothing happened .. but still .. duh....

9) OFTEN I am woke up in the middle of the night ... by drunk people. Some singing ... some shouting ... some ... talking ... whatever. A couple of times ... not often enough... maybe cos its a hostel. But ... the common room is always filled with glass bottles and pizza boxes left by this students. I personally feel its really irresponsible? Because its a shared area and they should be considerate to others who uses it ... they drink EVERyday .. and ommgg. noisy loh...

Above are just some of the reasons ... I had thought of in comparison to Singapore after living here for a few weeks. I am not complaining, I am adapting with it alright, but like I said there're are the pros and cons. There're some regulations in Singapore that I do not really agree too ... like the HDB regulation for dogs, and no body likes ERP and increase in electrical bills (but its really something that most of us can live with ...), stray cats getting caught and put to sleep =( ... etc etc. Things like chewing gum etc doesnt affect me ... I think its really minor issues.

AND there are alot of people saying that Singapore is not a democratic country at all ... and Singapore government literally "eat" money via ERP (like in Money not enough 2) etc... To be truthful, I don't really care about these (maybe cos I don't drive) ... I think that comparing with many countries ... we are doing well enough .. we have convenient transport system, government subsidised home, a generally safe nation etc. I think there's really pretty sufficient enough ... for me that is. If you strongly disagree to the policy .. then go start an opposition party or demonstrate or smething.

Like when people in Singapore ... always say ... wah lao so boring no where to go. While I am here... I think its even worse! Since I don't enjoy clubbing and pubbing so often ... so I am really at home most of the time after 6pm or so. And even if you want to go out at night... you have to take extra safety precautions too. And most of the club here close at 3am, and ... shopping closes pretty early. If you ask me .. Singapore isn't that boring at all lohhh..

For me, Singapore is where I am born ... and I am proud to be Singaporean, though I also got complain at times (but isnt that what Singaporeans do best)? I really feel quite disgraced when Singaporeans bad mouth Singapore to like oversea people, what for do until like that leh? Right? Like .. for me, that day I was mentioning this Astar Sg research company that actually offer scholarship for overseas ppl, all except for Singaporeans! I thoughht it was absurd too.

I am unhappy that Singapore is getting in so much foreigners here sometimes ... and like me, I got my rice bowl slammed and threw on the floor thanks to a desperate Malaysian colleague that was afraid to lose her job and chance for PR over here. We do hear of such stories smetimes ... not like it's just happening to me.

But still, I am born in Singapore .. as much as there's bad things about it ... there's also the good. There's no perfect country in this world. Everywhere has it conflicts, think about it. Since we are born here ... just like we are born to our parents, its our home and all, we should accept the good and bad of it. In fact, looking at the brighter side, it's really a pretty nice place to be in ... at least for me. Though I thought of working here for 1 year or so, due to the economy issue .. but Singapore has all my family, friends, bf, animals .... and stuffs .. my roots is here, and I really think we should take things positively. Unless we are slammed with an 100% increase in electrical bill or something. =/

I so shock to see HUang Liwen's entry so I decide to drop an entry also. =X

I am now in Sheffield like most of u all already know. And I am still very lazy but I am trying hard not to be so lazy and study a lil more than I usually do.

My hobby now is trying to cook and eat Singaporean food .. which my Chicken rice turned out fine .. but my oyster omelette I did today was terrible. AND its not my fault! I followed the recipe online.. but its total crap loh. cos when imix de flour and water .. it looks super watery leh! then end up my cooking looks like PUKE! And its so hard to control the temp of a stove ...

End up it taste pretty good... so I still gobble it up. =X I guess when you are hungry, everything tastes nice.

Yest went bar and intro fiesta with my classmates.. pretty cool and I got to know a couple of girls from China.. yes, when you are at overseas u tend to make friend with your own race. I think its applying for me. My ang moh friends are liao liao wu ji.

Hi. It's me. Super long time no blog.

Came back from HK-SZ-ZH last March. Enjoyed myself lots and spent lotsa $$ too! SZ is not as bad as they say it is and we love Disneyland lots. The food there were so tasty that I find SG food lousy when I got back to Singapore.

I hope every year can go on a short holiday and also to many many nearby places for breaks to relax my mind. I am very tired and exhausted after working for 2 years.

I had tendered my resignation letter to my boss, although I got fucked by her (which is why I tender), I do not think I am wrong at all. The only mistake I have done is perhaps not sucking up to her every now and then for my 2 years here.

Cheryl is "inviting" me over to her place as laboratory tech, temp first to be converted to permanent full time later. Although the pay for temp is normal and there's a chance of not converting to perm, but it's a freaking lab job and it's what I had been looking for all these years. So I am willing to give it a shot and pray for the best. I would hope to put in great effort in doing the job so that someone there (not Cheryl) would not feel being "lian lei-ed" for knowing me.

Studies wise I am still waiting for institute's reply. Right now is like a transition period, lots of waiting for school and job to call back. I really hope I can get through this time smoothly, and find a better job. Have to thanks uncle for his support all this while. Will treat him to something good if I managed to find a full time perm job soon! Hek.

Ordered some ELF products like over 70 stuffs, thinking of selling them, but actually I dont even have time to go through the items. Happy happy to receive all the make ups!

celebrated with a mini bbq session n phuket trip with moi baby..^^

Phuket 28 Feb 08 to 2 Mar 08

Day 1~

Stayed at this boutique hotel..Baipho Lifestyle..n we like it! we've got a oversized bed..big daybed..decent amercian breakfast every morning n the staffs were realli friendly~ ^^

we went exploring patong beach area which was like 10 mins walk away from our hotel..n settled down for our first meal..man..i miss the food there!

day 1 ended with a great dinner @ Sam's Steak..a restaurant @ Holiday Inn Hotel. posh n fine dinning place..which we don even know until we found tt place..really delicious steak...first steak i had in my whole life..yes..lao niang's learning to eat beef..n i'm loving it..haha..xP

Day 2~

we booked a day trip of island hopping n snorkelling the day before @1200 baht per pax..n day 2 starts like freaking early. 7 plus n we went down to have our breakfast while waitin for the mini van to pick up us to the pier...

1st and 2nd island was to phi phi don n phi phi leh..den monkey island..n sum island for lunch..n lastly khai island to snorkel..woo..mi n bf realli enjoy snorkelling..! we almost snorkel till we forgot the time n miss our boat back..lol

n we were so tired after the whole day trip..we knock out straight when we reach our hotel n we even missed our dinner! we just wasted a night like tt..lol

3rd Day~

we went phuket town for shopping~ their mini 'chatuchak' mkt n 'expo' mkt...not much stuffs...n things aint as nice as bkk's...moreover the stuffs r generally more expensive than bkk's..so i practically bought nothing..lol..surprisingly its easier to find guys clothings than ladies'...so baby got some tops for himself n his family..i got a couple for my papa too~ heh

after our shopping...we went to this Seaside Terrace Hotel n restaurant for buffet dinner~ i love the live band!! its really good...

baby got the waitress to get the band to sing birthday song to mi while i was taking fruits for him bcos he claims he was too full to walk..n after a while when i got back to my seat..they played the bd song dedicated to mi...i was so touch larrr...*shy*

after dinner we went bang la road..happening street..like a open 'geylang' also..eye opener...O.O

got back hotel..n i saw these 30 over roses laid on our oversized bed! with an addition small bouquet of roses n a chocolate cake. XDD

there's 9 pink roses..21 red roses..symbolises 21 sept..our anniversary..~ the small bouquet wraps 5 roses...3 red n 2 pink...which is of cos my birth date~ very very sweet n thoughful of baby..^^

oh ya..n he sang bd song for mi tt night...ahahaaha...for those who know him...he nv sings n claims he don sing...so when he sang one complete happi bd song to mi..u know how i feel la...really happy like bird bird..LOl

4th Day~

lazing ard after brkfast...to juncelyon mall n tried sheesha! wooo...grape flavour was nice! lol

overall we really enjoyed this trip..i wanna go phuket again!

End of the year isn't that smooth for me I guess.

Work's like freaking shit and I am basically falling asleep everyday upon reaching home, almost immediately.

Currently rushing my FYP project as well and school had basically started too.

Things are not going too well between me and Eric, we are all exhausted from work and all.

I just hope everything would be back to normal soon.

someone just entered my life of recent..we've known each other since poly time..but just got closer over the past few months...

he's the second person whom i feel like...i can be tgt with. i like the way he always says he misses me..i like the way he talks all kinds of nonsense with me..i like the way he joke abt things..i like the way he pats my head and holds my hand..i like the way he handles situations well...i like the way he pays attention to even the smallest details...i just like the way he's so special. x)

still uncertain abt the future though...cos we've just started..n..all these happened like so accidentally. Lol..sounds funny right..but its true. its like..nv in the past would anyone or even the both of us to thought that we would end up tgt. we r like ppl from diff world..he is totally ang moh pai..whereas i'm the more chi na pai..oh well..-.-...he onli speaks chinese when he have to..since poly time everione has been conversing wif him in eng..so our phone conversations sumtimes just ended up he laughin at my ang moh...wat an idiot. T_T but i also think my ang moh has improves lotssss after months of communication with him..haha! xP

the reason why i'm not sure if we could make it..is cos nobody noes wat will happen in the long run..i wont know if we r realli compatible..i wont know if he would side-track or are these feelings just temporary....but i guess tt would apply to any r/s i stepped into in the future (i hope there's no more 3rd time for lao niang cos lao niang aint any young now! ><)

29 Aug - 5 of us went down eski bar...after tt nite..he confessed to mi tt he accidentally likes me..well..i replied him sayin actualli i also accidentally likes him..but i nv think much abt it..cos i nv tot anithin would happen btw us..

1 Sep - he first held my hand after our movie..after parkin his car..on our way walking to mac at shaw..

9 Sep - we first hugged near hereen at 3 am plus...

15 Sep - first kiss @ cal's house...while watchin heart of greed drama series (our fav!)

16 Sep - he played Canon In D at cal's house with the very old piano upon my request! of cos i was memerized. hahah n sum other songs...two words to describe...very nice! hah

21 Sep - he came to fetch mi at my house..i was late as usual..-.- beforewhich..he kept tellin mi today is an important day for him...i guessed sumhow but i din tell him wat i was expecting...haha

on the car was surprise surprise surprise! xP he gave mi one big bouquet of flowers..9 roses. sweet enough..he got mi hugo boss pure purple perfume n crabtree & evelyn body butter...what's more..he gave me a slice of a cake he baked the whole day he claims...haha!

actually things aint realli smooth for us also..our thinking is just too different..i use to think its perfectly okay for mi to still go out wif guy frends of mine...like mingyan n jn..but he don think likewise..we talked things out n i understand from his point of view..i wouldnt like it if he goes out wif his girlsfrends or ex-gf so frequently either..so i understand where he's coming from..he needed security from mi...

n bcos he's still serving ns...his usual free time would onli be on wkends..(but currently its his lull period..he's stayin out even on wkdays! heh) but my fridays r for the usual gang..so i talk to him abt this oso..at first he was quite relucdant to agree tt we cannot meet up on fridays...but after talking..he agreed..

i understand tt we have differences in our thinking n behavior which we will have to talk it out..or compromise each other in order to make tis r/s works..

Hey ho.

Long time no blog.

Anyway, thanks for the wishes ... it's like 4 days after my birthday already. So sad... lol.

Exam's over for like 1-2 weeks? But I feel so exhausted after exams! I don't know why either. Too much activity and too little rest. Feeling quite worried about my project because I don't have the raw material to start yet.

This week's like busy busy busy. Or more of vex vex vex because everything's so rushhh. I guess 4 days of "holiday" for me is not enough at all. Zzzzz.

Enjoyed my batam trip on the 2nd lots lots, because although Eric send me home daily etc, we rarely have the chance to just talk cork and nua and play water polo etc in the pool together.

Our life's like a routine ... most of the time. Gym, school (while he waits for me to finish class), gym, study (for test/exam).

So it's good to take off from our routine during the batam trip. Like sitting at the lounge drinking, listening to music, smoking, smoking shisha and taking photo. Best way to relax.

Too bad good time pass so fast and coming back to work is nothing but headache with the usual stuffs la. Much more to come on Monday with meeting to prepare for.

The funniest part gotta be the "Hit the little man head ... "

I laugh till I cry and my saliver dripping also. LOL

And to me the saddest part is 715 having to part with his chicken.

So sad that my tears fall straight. =~(

The show was inspirational and full of chinese belief and culture. I quite like the show except for the part that whereby lasers were use as weapon, I didn't catch that because I didn't understand that why in such a realsitic show suddenly got weapons! So Starwars like. LOL.

715 with his silent yet important existance, and chinese belief on how bad will befalls on your closest 1 when you do wrong. Royston Tan seems to often look at the neglected, insignificant or forgotten people in Singapore. Like in 15, the bengs. 881, the ge tais singers .. (whom I used to dislike, due to the exageration glitter and noisy imo ...)

Initially, I realy didn't know of why May and Choy were put into the show. Like kinda extra and like VASE! After everything, IMO la, (maybe I am abit slow) was to contrast out that traditional chinese (represented by traditional ge tai effect) vs western style (techno) could be good or also better. Doesn't mean everything ang moh is better than chinese. At least that's my interpretation of that part la...

It's a nice and funny show (very muscial-ish) and most importantly, it holds deep meaning throughout the entire show. (And 715 looks cute in that show. XD)

Hope that I can catch the previous show 15 too which I didnt get to watch very much thanks to DANIEL TAN. Had been scouting for the VCD with Eric since don't know how many donkey years ago ....

Finally my exams are done with, though not well done but will do. Just hope to do okay for my papers. Next week's gonna be my birthday, after this Friday would be 4 consecutive days of break. Can't wait for weekends to come!

I was there to work on my report and we saw this couple ... like 15 years old-18 years old (at max). French kissing like 1/2 the time out of like a couple of hours we were there. Freaking disgusting lo, I mean it's Coffee Bean on weekends evening! Who the fuck goes there to lah ji.

I think I saw the "Handsome Coffee Bean Guy" (the one Eric complains that I had been beow-ing) had a shock in his look when he saw what's going on. And every1 was like looking at them, machiam free show.

I think it's OKAY to be short and sweet be it in MRT, escalator ... or maybe totally fine in a pub. But not for like 2-3 hours on/off in a cafe???? I haven't even start on the part that they were looking damn underage.

Home-sweet-home!

Poor me is down with flu and sore throat. Perhaps mayb even a bit of fever. But being really guai, I still went ahead to work.

Recently ... work is only hectic when moving is concern and also complains from branches (getting numb!), school wise is rushing report and preparing for little test. I got like a 9/10 for my computer practical on moldflow programme and I am reall happy. Heehee.

And then ... haven't been to gym yet this week. Really sad! Due to moving, sickness and achy body.

Now I have a new neighbour by the name of TBT! He's sitting opposite me and he's quite nice to talk to so I had been talking to him about all sort of rubbish. Honest and friendly guy, though I always disturb him, I think he makes a good husband for his lao po! Don't get the wrong idea la. People getting married 1 hor... heehee.. LY is still sitting next to me but got partition, hard to say secrets la! =/

The new office is not too bad, I took some pictures but kinda lazy to upload now. Hopefully everything will jus settle down eventually. The poor guys in our office are like working their ass off doing manual works. Hmm. I also ke lian .. cos Sunday I helped TBT to move, clean and wrap pallets in the warehouse! It's not a girl's job! But I too helpful la.. what to do. =X

My exams is like coming real soon starting on 20th August. It's like 17 more days!!! Yet we have yet to complete the lessons yet and there're still little test! Poor me. I really hope to do better this sem. *Prayers*

Tests over the Friday and Saturday finally over. Finally can take a break after studying for so long ... so I went to play to my fullest and was so tired on Monday!

After test on Saturday Hotdog and I took a cab to Sentosa and went for a swim before meeting the girls.

And I was fooling around with this coconut tree! LOL. Machiam monkey.

Then met the girls at Cafe Del Mar and we took some pic with the lightings in Sentosa. Very nice lights!

After that headed to Cineleisure and sing K with Mrs and Mr Teo. I KO earlier than I usually would.

Sunday... I practically slept the whole day and went to had dinner with Eric @ IMM Pepper Lunch! Then did some groceries shopping.

Fruitful weekends and good rest before exams ahead in 1 more month!! ><

I SO LOVE MY GOVERNMENT!

Gotta letter from SP regarding Giro payment for my school fees and there were governement subsidy!

After: 400 bucks!

I am really OVER THE MOON. Am I too easily content? I don't know.

It's really 1 great news for me after all these months.

I can save aside the $$ for next sem's school fees and piano lessons.

Now that cash is not so tight, maybe I shall save aside and take up drum classes after I graduate!

Weekends are over. Time always flew faster on weekends. Hmmm ...

That Thursday I dreamt of grandma and brother. I dreamt that we were still kids and sa jiao-ing to my grandma. And .. something bad happened to my bro and I woke up regreting being so cold to him of recent. Though he isn't exactly the bro any sister wants but I guess we're still a family after all and I will try not to bad mouth about him that often. =/

Miss grandma and I wished I didn't have to work and study for the past year because if not for that I would have definitely went back to KL more with my parents and 2-3 days before she died I wouldn't be stuck in Singapore over some stupid exams and could have seen her the last time.

Most of us work and study to earn more $$. Did I missed out spending more time with my loved one jus because of $$? All that sad. If only in life, we could turned back time.

Even when with Eric .. though we meet daily. It was just him sending me to school and back (while I zzz), going to the gym together but doing different things and me studying while he dabble with his PSP. I don't think we exactly spent alot of quality time together in that sense.

I am trying my best now to give a part of myself to family, friends and Eric. And also to take time to study a little more and practice my piano more and keep it healthy with some 2-3 gyming sessions per week. And a few hours off weekends for earrings and rabbits.

Hope grandma is happier elsewhere where there's more people who can be there for her and IF there's life after death.

Was clearing my accessories drawer and it drew back lots of memories. There were accessories from the girls, Wen .. colleague. The necklace from Eric ... some from mum .. and auntie. Grandma's jade earrings to me and her pendants. Last but not least also a 1/2 pendant of a heart shape probably from my X.

Time after working really pass by quickly and I really could feel the beautiful memories and also love from each piece of accessories I had from family and friends. Though some I never wore them, every single piece seems to say a story and bring in some memories.

A lover's pendant that reminds me of the kinda silly puppy love in Sec Sch ... accessories from friends that made me think of them and also how it came about ... the stuffs from my grandma and also some hand-made clothings she made for me that I never got to wear because it's not "in" actually ... but I still appreciate every little thing from her a lot.

The necklace from Eric brings in both sweet and bitter memories. It was suppose to be my V'day gift and he gave it to me before I went KL for my grandma's funeral and that was also the time I felt so heartbroken.

All these made me feel that time is passing so fast now that it's rarely possible to stop and take a breather. Somethings are priceless and could never be bought in anyway. As time passes by ... and as I grow up, I will try my best to work hard yet to spend enough time for my love ones. I don't wish to live in regret in the case of grandma.

And those bitter memories from before, to wipe it out and remember only the beautiful side of it. If we were to hold all grudges till the day we die, how bitter would life be. Nobody really wished to hate or be hated, right? *Sigh*

Now at work. A bit bored so let me write a short entry.

School starts today means hell hell till September which I hope I will look forward to since it's going to be my birthday.

Office's moving soon so will be busy .. looking for quotation for fume hood blah blah, getting up with the lab arrangement and packing up the lab stuffs.

Also getting started on my FYP. Exams shall be in close to 5 weeks time. *Sweat*

Can't wait for it to be over!!! Basically I can't wait for this year to be over because I am graduating next April hopefully.

And though Prettie-Cuttie isn't getting much business, we would like to try to expand it still. Will give our best shot till the day we can't hold it anymore. ~_~

Meantime .. might be planning to go Bangkok wit her man and her and Hotdog someday. Just on which day. ~_~

Anyway... Friday had company outing Duck Tour and Dinner.

As for these 2 building, there's some very interesting feng shui story behind it.

For Mandarin Marina, it's built to look like an elephant (use your imagination) facing the water, as per beliefs, water means wealth so elephant is like sucking up the water aka wealth from the river.

And Conrad Hotel, the building that look like it has a 13 on it. The 13 is a auspicious number in cantonese actually meaning something like "sure survive".

Hek. Reached home at 9pm after 3-4 hours of journey with dad's car with me sleeping like a motionless pig and dad going at like 140km per hour. O_O

Friday.

Previous night I cheong to blog .. and check work emails till 3-4am. Then met up with the gals to take the bus. Causeway something's bus. The seat wasn't as comfy as those I've take before but the bus was quite clean. But it was really really slow and took us ... 9am - 3pm to reach KL as the driver was slow, it was raining and driver also drove 2 rounds around Tuas cos he couldnt find the Tuas Causeway! Zzzz.

Took off to shopping at Sungei Wang, Central Market and Petaling Streets from 3pm to 11pm. My parents treated us zhu chao with my favourite hei mian and nicey lor mee. ^^

At Central Market, we went crazy with 10RM slippers and almost dismantle the person's push cart. LOL. It was already closing actually. Then we went crazy bargaining at Petaling Street with Hui the Persistent Bargainer and Ting the Chia Bei Bei Bargainer. *Sweat* The shoe shop owner was like quite frustrated with us bargaining almost an hour for 20 RM. LOL.

Don't usually shop there actually, prefer the comfort of Sungei Wang. But some new and sweaty experience for me too.

Saturday

My dad and mum took us to Qiu Zhao Feng Zhap Yun for tim sum in the morning. Not really ex .. I guess.. about 110 over RM for 7 pax was not too bad. We used to go there with my Ah Ma but not this round. Or maybe she was also there, we wouldn't know. =P

We continued our part 2 shopping at Petaling Streets (scouting for local tidbits), Central Market and also Sungei Wang. Skipped Mid Valley Mall as it was ... more to middle - high range so we thought we will go somewhere more affordable so that we can go crazy shopping!

Ended our tiring shopping feeling tired and broke. Got back to our hotel to play UNO before proceeding to K at 12am!

The K was the BEST! and a BLAST! I love Green Box to the max, it was only 32RM per pax and there's buffet, free flow tidbits and free flow drinks (many choices!)!!! The place is clean, with a big and nice toilet as well. It was supposed to be fully booked but there still available room after waiting for 5 minutes. The customer service was great!

Except that the tv was a bit out of view from some tiny angles and that it was a bit harder to dian ge. Mayb cos it's also our first time using the system. But the control was clean ... we had 3 mics and didn't even have to request (unlike KBox in Singapore), their wall was nice and not dirty... the system was great! All our voice sounded like so powderful. LOL.

It was everything that KBox isn't. Heeheehee. Love it to the core!

6/5 stars to them! Cos they even had 2 small rooms for people to try out if they like the K-ing experience! Another good thing was it's just a walk from our hotel. Less than 5 mins? Splendid experience there. =)

Our last day and I was bloody zzzz. OBVIOUSLY. Didn't really slept well and also the K-ing session. You need lotsa energy to be high you know? Hek.

Went Time Square awhile, then my dad brought them to Pudu to makan and sent them aka the noisy bunch off. My dad's the best! For being so patient .. kind and helping us around. Without him it wouldn't have been so convenient around. Muack muack muack!

Went to Cheras area to find my gu gu. Her little jap shop's quite nice! Hope her business would be good. =)

Hello.

Just a short entry before I take my rest.

Currently, is mid term test before the short 2 weeks vacation. So had been busy running through my tests. And for the first time ... I actually passed my math test taken 2-3weeks back. Am happy like shit but I am getting lost as the chpts goes on.

Today is my mid year appraisal which surprisingly took 30 mins (for a very unchatty person like me), in b/w with director picking up call. Though nothing much ... to talk about, I am happy that I am allowed to scout a fumehood in the new office and safety boots for myself. Might be even going for a training on lab, which is good, as long as I can schedule the time to.

Was good for the first 1/2 of the day. Eric starting his new job on Wednesday, me passing math and getting safety measured for my lab requirements and 2 weeks vacation coming soon. What more can I ask for? And my office is planning an office outing on 31st Aug incorporation to my birthday which is really nice of them, let's just hope everything's gonna be good for now.

Got my menses today and on-off flu since yesterday. I wasn't able to turn up for my Financial Management test as I didn't want to turn up sick and get badly scored. So I took a mc so as to get a retest. Glad I didn't go ... the cramp .. the discomfort was killing me. Then came the giddiness. Gonna pop the pills and take a rest.

Apart from that ... Cheryl's husband is back from US, which is good as she wouldn't be that bored and screaming cockroach anymore. However, Best Friend Zhong Zhi, don't seem to be doing too well in NS. Hope that he can overcome whatever he's facing that I probably wouldn't know of too well. =)

This week had been busy and tiring. The booth business is very bad. We were very tired, sad, disappointed and demoralised. So we went to had a sumptuous dinner at LJS and went to sing K and high to relax.

Friday night I only had 2 hours of sleep due to the preparation. After that was set up of booth and rotting by the booth. Eric and friends told us to cheer up and treat it as an experience. Thanks god for friend's support or we two might end up crying together. I went for an appt before go kbox and then to pub with Eric. Reached home to upload some pictures of earrings.

KO! Morning went to aerobics. XIONG! My whole face like lobster. Then met up with Hui and joined Body Balance with her at FF. I think tomorrow I will become a crippled. T_T
Body Balance is a combo of tai chi, yoga and pilates. Hek.

Afterwhich we went Vivo cos I was craving to window shop and had our dinner there. Aerobics + Body Balance + Shopping makes me really really tired.

Went on home ... then as usual I sit in front of my computer chatting wit friends and happily viewing dresses online and

some very unwelcomed pest came to message me to demand what I chatted with another friend.

Long story but the whole issue is suppose to be a "misunderstanding" like "they" called it.

Visting Cheryl Low and going Orchard.

On Monday's Day, I brought some flowers and pay Cheryl a surprise visit and caught her in her pyjamas, HAHA. Went Ikea to have hotdog before going to her place for awhile.

Evil Eric told the Guai Guai Covin to put his arms together and pose for a kidnapped photo and he did! He Masked tape Covin's arm together! Look at the pictures. LOL. The blue black on his face was not caused by Eric hor, that 1 is the poor boy himself knock over something. XD

Headed to Orchard for usual gym at Paragon and had our usual favourites from Lucky Plaza Foodcourt. I had my black pepper beefy rice and he had his hotplate mee. Bagus!

We then went to Fareast and I got a swimming suit so that we can go swimming at FF's gym that have a pool. Hekhek. I haven't gone swimming in ages. Uncle Eric bought me peach tarts from Hans. It's only 1 dollar per piece and its really not bad! Hmmm hmm..

After that we took a bus down to Liang Court and Eric bought a bloody 42" plasma for his room. Not really ex, only SGD 1999. Then went to visit his sister that's working there and we shared a Curry Chicken Katsu Set. Sinful ... ><

On the way home ... so sleepy already. Zzz.

Labour Day on Tuesday and the rest of the week seems to fly like wind. Wkends are coming soon again. Hope I can fully utilise them.

Oh wait. I am going to chalet. Almost forgot. Anyway I took Monday off next week, to take a rest and clean up my room a bit.

Having my cereal at work while typing this. Cereal's nice and having it with milk which ooz calcium is good cos I am lack of it. Somehow though I need 1 1/2 packet to fill full. What a glutton.

Last weekend, see myself at gym as per usual and went for Pedicure at Stripz with that 50% vocher I have. Love Pedi. If I have $$ I would bloody go for it everyweek. But I feel paiseh to ask a person to do my feet ... scrub and so on.

My gu gu and biao mei was here to take back more of their stuffs. I didn't go out with them much etc. They seems happy and settled in Malaysia. Good for them.

I think 1 damn night ... me and Eric was fighting about rounds at a bar. So much so that someone called the police! That bloody asshole! CRAZY shit. Nowadays Eric is always black face and I am feeling so cranky and moody.

I feel it's hard to find a good friend to talk to. And sometimes say liao they also don't understand. Like talking to a bloody cow. Sometimes I even feel like vommiting blood.

Oh yes, I've been wanting to comment. I caught American Idol a couple of times while at gym working out. I must say that BLAKE rox!? Heard him 2 - 3 times I and think he's very creative and original singer.

I so wanna get some cds but am pretty broke. Lily Allen ... Christina Aguilera and Gwen Stefani seems to be doing good. Been awhile seems I am in touch with the current world.

4/5/07 and 5/5/07 and 6/5/07

Went for Li Yan's birthday party and I must say it's 1 of the most tiring chalet I ever been to. We reached there on Friday and started working on the decos. The thing is though she booked the place for 1 week for only 70 bucks and her friend came over, but they did almost nothing!

I can safely say me and Jasmine did about 60-70% of de deco. We were glad to do it but was very tiring. I stretch too much till I hurt my back anyway. So I am glad I took leave on Monday. Because my mensy also came on Saturday morning. F!

In fact after the whole thing, we thought it was the deco part that was fun because once Saturday came and it was Li Yan's night, she can say ignore us totally. At first the buffet, we helped ourselves and all. We thought maybe she maybe busy alot of people can help around ourselves.

But when night falls, after opening the presents in the masterbed room where we stayed cos we were there earlier than the rest, she went to play mahjong with her friends and left us doing nothing. Chatting? Crapping? Nothing much to do because Bai Hui slept so early and left us 3 girls, so we can't be too noisy either.

I feel so sian and disappointed lo. It's like we were take for granted to help. I see her friends leaving and she was like ... thanks for coming blah blah *HUGZ*. But not to us anyway....

Anyway, it wasn't super bad as we at least got to meet up some sec come friends that we haven't seen for a long time. But in anyway ... I wished I left on Saturday night. It totally sucks.

This morning, Jasmine's bf sent us home. Very nice of him to come over early in the morning to send us back because of we having to rush for aerobics. Bleah. After aerobics went over to Eric's place cos he said he bought me a gift.

To my surprise, he bought me a bloody printer, copier and scanner saying cos I will need it cos I'd been thinking of getting 1. I did complain sometimes he's not nice to me and nt romantic and never buy me lil presents every now and then.

I didn't meant it this way ... I was grumbly cos I was PMS-y but I appreciate his thoughtfulness in getting something practical and that I need compared to a bear, a bag or anything not that useful. ><

i m not sure whether its bcos of meet ups..or..my work..but seriously..my work is gifing mi SERIOUS prob..the biggest prob is..i m not happi workin in tt firm animore..the ppl r fake over there...alrite..mayb onli a handful of them..most of them r fun to hang ard n tok to..but workin wif them is a totally different matter..they will onli spot wat u did wrongly n reprimand u..but they will nv tell u wat u did good n shld continue to do..the firm/my dep doesnt tk care of the ppl's welfare...they don bother! see..june is leaving..n the bosses r shocked...they don even notice tt the emoplyees here r unhappi workin for them n they juz cant be bothered...as long as u do ur work n bring them the income...

doing OT is like a must..not realli a must..but doing OT will reflect better on u..they do tk note of whether u do OTs often or not..its like wth..doing OT doesnt mean anithin..its either u r inefficient in ur work..or simply ur workload is too heavy..but they don see ppl doing OT as a prob..they will label u as 'hardworking' ones if u OT often n tk lil leaves or MC.

currently the workload is too much for mi to handle..sumtimes i need to skip my class or goin late for class to finish up my bloody work..wif the pay i'm tkin..i tot i was under-paid for the amt of work i'm handling now..

appraisal in the middle of the yr 07..general comment abt mi is..i've becum slacker compared to last yr..this i haf to agree..mayb due to personal matters.

-seems to be tkin too much leaves..wth..we r ENTITLED to annual leaves by the firm..i m only tkin the entitlement..the RIGHTS to tk my days off...wat do u mean i seems to be goin on too much leaves...fuck. i realli don understand...

Yesterday met up with Ong Lai to get the stuffs she got me and also pass her her long own-ed birthday present.

Thanks Ong Lai. Love the stuffs. In fact using the bag u give me today and eating tai yang bing for breakfast. O_O

So xing fu .. I had lao po biscuit from Hong Kong last week from colleague. Now have Tai Yang Bing from Taiwan.

Today is Sunday.

Was over at Eric's place, fell asleep doing earrings at his place! So early in the moring left with him when he's going to work ... me went home and work on the earrings again. Then took a short nap before preparing for Aerobics.

My super nicey dad sent me over. Saving all my troubles to wait for 187 and squeeze like pancake. Hekhek. I was "gentler" through out the workout so as to save myself from body ache tomorrow. O_O

After that Eric met me up .. and that asshole forgot his sport shoes so went back to his place to get and took 106 to Orchard while we both sleep like dead pigs.

Went Paragon to do some work out and steam bath.

Then went to Taka looking for food and saw this NS40 fair! We went to visit it and answer the questions and got a free mini army bag! So cute. Fun too! Heehee. Took lotsa pics!

Yes. TGIF. Thanks God It's Friday ... not sure if it's such a good thing because it means dreadful Monday would be in and around less than 2 days.

Today marks 13th April 2007, a Friday. So it's the unlucky Friday ... 13 - unlucky number, 4 - die in chinese and cantonese, plus the fact that it's 13 April FRIDAY. Makes it even more unlucky than it already is.

Start the day off with my internet down. And me spending about 30 mins to fix it. Was busy for almost the whole day. Lab is getting more and more hectic. I have also accepted the company project which means I am stuck here till next year! LOL.

Oh well .. not that I intend to job hop anyway.

After work, met up with a friend selling insurance to hear her policies with Eric. Quite interesting knowledge of insurance now ... hmmm ... we are considering taking up a premium once we have money aside to do. We are flat broke now actually. =.=

What a tiring day today. Usually I would sleep like 1am + on normal days .. yet on a Friday I feel like sleeping right now at 10am! Gosh...

Tomorrow would meet up with Cheryl to discuss on earring stuffs and hit the gym then head home for piano lesson.

After Sunday's Aerobics, I am officially a crippled. Woke up this morning with a shocking "unmovable" lower body. Actually I had strained my thighs muscles before Aerobics and went on with the class thus straining it to it's limit. Zzz.

I can hardly jump off my bunk bed! Hmm. Spent the day at home ... wanting to do some packing but I can't even squat. Darn it. So I just sat by my computer doing some Internet banking and checking out with colleagues on work situation.

Eric brought me to see a doctor at about 7pm and we waited from 730pm to 930pm. Doctor said such strain requires 2-7 days to heal so he's giving me freaking 3 days mc! But I would have to be back to work, I don't want to miss out too much and get my work messed up.

Oh ya ... I watched Number 23 and DAMN I LOVE THAT SHOW! DAMN I LOVE JIM CARREY! HE'S DA BOMB!

The show was one of the nicest I've watched so far! And Jim's so charming and I love his acting! And the shows he act in .... So glad I went to cinema to catch this show despite having not went to a cinema for donkey years!

Anyway, crippled Xin probably can't go to gym for the days to come .. Bohoho.

A few days back I managed to caught the movie Saw 3 which was UBER, SUPER, OMG GORY!!! Damn it.

Work's getting busier and I am finally getting the hang of the logistic job after working for close to 9 months? As in less mistakes ... more "efficient" and less complain. *Touch wood* ... even my manager commented that I improved, though he said it with a funny laugh. =.=

Anyway, the thing now is formulation issues from lab giving me a headache ... me nono much about it and somehow everything pass down from the previous chemist doesn't work. T_T

And also I need to find a project preferably "company based" for my FYP. Before mid of April that is. I really wish to do better for my last year. Let's pray everythig would go on smoothly and let me find a good project. *Fingers cross*

Apart from that, had been working out at FF 3-4 times a week. Lol. Even my orientation PT recognise us so much that he say "Wah ... everyday also come". Haha. The fact is sometimes we are too poor and no place to go also. Lol. Anyway, I love going there though I feel lethargic after the exercises, at least after workout can sometimes eat the nice beef noodles at Lau Pa Sat as dinner. XD

Thursday attended a Basic Pilates lesson. Eric when with me though he was paiseh cos it's mostly girls. Hek. But the stretching was good. Hope in April to come, there's still Basic Pilates class for us to attend. ^^

Weekends are here and I don't know if I am really happy or not actually. My parents went to KL cos it's 49 days since my grandma pass away. I wanna go too but it was too last min and I really hate the travelling. Sometimes I wonder why go only after grandma die. Why not visit her more when she's still alive?

Yesterday while on the way to work, in the bus, I was thinking of grandma and missing her. Tears just fell off my checks naturally. It's so sad to lose a family member to the King of Hades. Usually on board the bus, I just fell straight to lalaland. =.=

Anyway, this is also not the first time I felt I miss my grandma even after close to 2 months since she left. Once I was talking to Eric about how my grandma made some clothes of her own in her own style where you won't see anyone outside wearing. My eyes suddenly grew heavy and I felt like crying. Miss grandma, but all these are part and parcel of life I cannot escape from.

Gotta pay slip for the month..every march our firm gifs 0.5 mth interim bonus..(final in aug) so I’m abitttt richer tis april..but it wont last long la..cos of the Taiwan trip..which I will pay for my dearest mother’s expenses there oso..bao ga liao!
